What was the logic of replacing David Cameron, who resigned because the voters rejected his campaign to stay in the EU, with Theresa May, who also wanted to stay in the EU? I think we all know the answer to that, and now we've seen how it played out in practice.

The weeks after the campaign were chaotic and the leading conservative Leave figures expected to win the leadership contest managed to take each other out leaving 3rd favourite Theresa to win :(

I agree with the comments that she was delaying Brexit as long as she could on purpose. She was always a tool of the establishment probably. Good riddance. Anyone would be better for that country.

She doesn't want to answer the hard questions coming her and the UK's way about
#SpyGate and the role they (a foreign power) played in trying to unseat a dully elected president. She tried to over throw our presidency and thinks she will walk into the sunset unscathed.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

100% agree. Instead of Brexit, internet censorship. Instead of Brexit, fox hunting. Instead of Brexit, let's take away pensioner's money. What a complete and utter failure.

Get the hook already. She has done horrid damage to the Conservative Party. Send her into exile. Is Elba available?

Totally incompetent. Had only one mandate and she failed to follow through. Time to move aside so that others can move on.

The crony-capitalism's puppets that is what has happened to the Tories; is it any wonder the young are finding socialism so attractive. The swamp insists on lingering perpetually!

I am increasingly convinced Theresa May entered into a Faustian pact with the British Establishment to kill Brexit. So her failure is the opposite to the one you describe, but nonetheless still a breathtaking failure - she has energized the country against the establishment.

She was the perfect operative to destroy Brexit by stonewalling the will of the people. A typical globalist
