Bad for Bernie. He over-performed in caucus states in 2016 (as did Obama in 2008) because caucuses reward on-the-ground organizing and activist acumen, which is one of his campaign's biggest strengthshttps://twitter.com/FiveThirtyEight/status/1129480924117262338 …

Did you attend any State caucuses or watch live streams? I watched numerous times, Nevada specifically, use this method to completely cold shoulder the Bernie side.

Remember the brandished chair incident? The mistreatment of the Bernie side lead to this not so newsworthy event.

I lived in Minnesota very briefly, and it did not make me a fan of the caucus system.

Tracy is still recovering from the injuries he sustained when he was viciously assaulted on Capitol Hill. Plenty of painkillers.

My theory that Biden is polling so high is because the rest of the field just haven't impressed. That the unimpressed went to Biden and not Bernie suggests to me Bernie is toast.

Yes. The field as a whole features quantity, not necessarily quality. Really and truly, to me, only two out of all of the 25 or however many have what I would consider to be Presidential level experience and gravitas -- Elizabeth Warren and Joe Biden.

Yep, I suspect strangling any potential challengers will be seen once again as the focus of their energy after another dramatic loss come November of next year. Ouroboros.

Good thing it's 2019. Bernie did great in 2016, is now a household name. The dynamic is completely different. Crowded field, Biden isn't going to perform well in the debates, the other candidates will split the vote, Sanders will win NH and IA and be really hard to beat

Caucuses are the least democratic procedure for aggregating political will. Ironic re Bern.

Biden looks and acts feeble. The press can only ignore it for so long. He stammers and has become forgetful, no way he lasts another year and a half, much less four after that..lol

Here's a case where information will mitigate the effect. Knowing you fell for a scam makes that scam forever useless to the scammer. SHOUT IT FROM THE ROOFTOP, BROTHER!!😆

The GOP already neutered their caucuses after the work dissidents did in 2012 for Ron Paul
