Nigel Farage's current ascendancy as leader of the new Brexit Party seems to have some US parallels. After leaving UKIP, he hosted a talk radio show to maintain/cultivate his audience. He went around giving speeches, including in the US. And now he's getting lots of small donors

Farage is also still dealing with ridiculous accusations that Russia somehow funded or facilitated Brexit -- another nasty import from the US. And it's hilarious that the main reason he's had to denounce UKIP (his party of 25 years) is due to Carl Benjamin, aka Sargon of Akkadpic.twitter.com/fSr3p9cbGa
