That Harvard Law School, of all places, no longer understands that the guiltiest man is entitled, legally and morally, to the best defense he can afford is astonishing. Of course Harvard and Yale are no longer "law" schools. They're leftist re-education camps.

That simply hastens the debt mills' demise as a respected class of institutions. Soon enough employers will want clean uncluttered minds and the need for technician level wage earning training in technical colleges will blossom as guaranteed apprenticeships.pic.twitter.com/rbHMvgRP21

It’s a bad day for the legal profession that is supposed to represent even the most repulsive citizens, and an ironic day for social justice given Sullivan’s important work.pic.twitter.com/Hll1rWULtb

Isn't it a basic tenet of our system of adversarial law, that everyone is entitled to a defense? This represents, either a lack of understanding on the part of these students...
-
Or possibly a deepening understanding, that our adversarial system favors the rich, and that the quality of the attorneys makes more difference than the guilt or innocence of the defendant.

i don't know how many of their students are taking law, but the ones that are should be able to explain to the rest why a professor of law might choose to put on a "vigorous defense" in a particularly controversial case. it is, after all, the system we are supposed to uphold.
