Christopher Steele was meeting with State Dept. official Kathleen Kavalec in October 2016 and telling her that the Russians had "placed an agent" inside the DNC, as well as other wild theories. No wonder various Govt. agencies were in meltdown at the timehttps://www.scribd.com/document/409364009/Kavalec-Less-Redacted-Memo …

Bottom line is going to be, "Agency showed poor judgment in placing faith in Steele without vetting his info, but no one engaged in actual wrongdoing." Saw the handwriting on the wall long ago. And everyone moves on, free to do it again (different players), as with Lois Lerner.

I'm increasingly convinced that the Obama admin was convinced that Russia DID have Hillary's deleted emails. They panicked and broke a lot of rules trying to catch Trump's people with the goods. Bad intel.

So they could blame Trump rather than admit she had the emails “unsecured?”

but former FBI employee Asha Rangappa swore that the only "unverified" stuff from Steele regarded Trumps personal conduct! Why would a former FBI employee lie about the conduct of the FBI?

If there was Russian spy in dnc why didn’t they investigate that? Still frustrated that dems keep saying can’t let foreign govt do this to elections again.. so should be having hearings of Obama admin. They were in charge not trump. What did they do to stop it?

Actually an “inside” agent would’ve been simplistic & effective. The DNC isn’t on par with the former Soviet Union and it doesn’t exist anymore.

I understand that the Mueller report makes no mention of, let alone deep investigation into, the Steele dossier. Which is odd considering it is at the heart of the entire matter. The media basically ignores it too.

This would seem to be a key area of inquiry, but instead is the black hole in the middle of the entire investigation. It’s the dog that didn’t bark.

you know, Steele is a British spy. Seems like,if anything, its British, not Russian, interference.

Isn't this the meeting where he also said these plants were being paid out of the Miami Russian consulate? So the official flagged the report as dubious for the FBI since there is no Russian consulate in Miami. The FBI ignored that flag.

Nah, the conspirators all knew what they were doing. There was no meltdown in the law enforcement and intelligence agencies. They may be now though as the truth unfolds.

The ‘agent’ in the DNC will be the leak that they claimed as a hack btw. It’s time for truth this charade has gone on too long. Steele needs to be in front of a grand jury

No Michael... It was obvious BOGUS info as the key feature was that the Russian's were "running" these ops out of their Miami consulate. Russian DOESN'T have a "Miami" consulate! You can't tell me the STATE DEPARTMENT doesn't know that!
