Shocking no one, Bernie Sanders confirms that he has not read the Mueller Reporthttps://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/ryancbrooks/2020-democrats-read-mueller-report …

I don't know, I think candidates should probably read the Report considering it continues to dominate US political discussion every single day. Warren read it the day it was issued, and then used her analysis as the basis for demanding impeachment. At least she read it.

I read the entire Report carefully and I'm just some schmuck. You'd think a presidential candidate would find the time to read a document that is completely dominating US politics, and will continue to do so indefinitely. Especially considering all the time they spend on planes

Exactly. This was always a farce and now they have to keep the show going long enough to convince the poor slobs at home they mean business with this Russia red scare.

I don't think Sanders is as smart as he appears. I mean, relative to most of the other candidates, he's clearly brighter. But for a man of high ideals, he shows little concern about the apparatus of public messaging that would allow him to turn his ideals into reality.

Plus he's no sellout, has guts, and he doesn't call 'em like he sees 'em, he tells us the truth as we already know it. That's antithetical to the usual politician in America, historically.

The daily briefings would amount to that much reading or more. I'd still staff it out, but eventually you'd have the whole thing after meetings, and you'd still eventually read it. I'd be more careful about getting caught not knowing some obscure current event.

The best Propaganda simply occupies the people to the point they don’t have time to engage the truth. Russiagate is the dominate propaganda, for both parties.

Well, you read it because it's a big part of your job, to debunk this nonsense. I'd argue it's counterproductive for Bernie. He'd be wasting his time. I'd rather he be working on his campaign and policies.

I think the more reasonable position is to simply accept that there was no problem worth worrying about and move on. But it’s reasonable for you to read it—for the mopping up operation.
