We're now approaching the point where it can be reasonably said that Dems swindled voters in 2018. They seldom discussed Trump/Russia, but rather focused more on "bread and butter" issues like healthcare. Now Trump/Russia dominates their legislative agenda every single day. Liars

It's particularly deceptive because the stuff they're focusing on now was largely known during the 2018 campaign, including Trump's allegedly "obstructive" acts which mostly had occurred in public. Dems did not gain 41 seats by screaming about Russia, impeachment, and Don McGahn

Remember, Adam Schiff has admitted that he advised Dem candidates in 2018 to not talk about Russia, and to conceal the fact that they would be focusing on it as a caucus because, he said, voters generally don't care about the issuehttps://twitter.com/mtracey/status/1122135131836309505 …

Adam Schiff once again reveals his cynicism and dishonestly. He tells Bill Maher that he advised Dem candidates in 2018 "don't talk about Russia," even though he's made Russia a top legislative priority for Dems. So he essentially advised colleagues to lie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqulV8vGgDg&t=5m48s …

Also remember, Russia was the #1 issue discussed at the 2016 presidential and vice presidential debates. Didn't work out so well for Dems. So they changed the subject, rhetorically. But they didn't change their actual governing priorities. Mueller's delay is also appalling.

But we're also at a point where both sides have poisoned the well by casting doubt on election results.

Here's a radical idea: congressional democrats can legislate on a whole raft of important bread and butter issues, while also holding the president to account for committing what most experts in federal law believe to be a clear case of obstruction of justice.

This is a laughably bad take. It means that Congress should ignore anything that happens post-elections since the voters didn't specifically vote on it 🤔

They gained 41 seats precisely because of the Russian hoax
