House Democrats are now using the bizarre term "self-impeachment" to describe what Trump is allegedly doing. Pelosi used it and I just heard Rep. Ann Kuster (D-NH) use it. What does that even mean? Can't tell if it's to lay the groundwork for actual impeachment or deflect/delay

They don't dare to vote for actual impeachment, because they know they'll lose and look even more ridiculous (if at all possible).

I say they should put up or shut up if Trump did something impeachable impeach him. But if not don't but they won't do either they love the theater. But I think they want theater and contempt is theater

It's saying we're going to do nothing by implying he's going to snare himself, which won't happen either. They don't want it to happen anyway. They need 4 more years of air cover for an entirely corrupted system. Plus, he's making them tons of money.

House Democrats are now exhibiting something I've coined "Self-Delusion." And they're deluding the American people. Don't be the Enemy of the People, Congress.

100% deflection. Like Romney's self-deportation, its saying the person/people in question will sort themselves out without us having to do anything.

They’re trying to keep their base engaged, without having to do anything of substance that would alienate the center of the spectrum. Is this not obvious?

They’ve detected a large drop-off in enthusiasm post-Mueller, and now they’re trying to get that engagement back, without having to expend any political capital.

Well, since impeaching in the house is just symbolic since obviously the senate won't remove him from office, I guess the theory is he's symbolically impeaching himself by doing whatever it is he's doing. It's basically just pure laziness on the part of the dem establishment

I heard Hakeem Jeffries say that 17 intelligence agencies confirmed Russian hacking. And another Dem said Trump's former national security advisor is in jail. They don't go any further than MSNBC for their information.

They’re looking for a reason not to follow through. If it looks like it’s something Trump wants, I guess they can tell voters that’s why they didn’t go through with the stupid impeachment stuff.

The way to look at it is like talking to a car salesman. He is trying to screw you. You know it and he knows it. You just have to figure out how much he plans to screw you, and how he plans to do it. They have a plan, there is a reason, we just need to think like them.

They were created and voted into office by man. They evolved. They rebelled. There are many copies. And they have a plan.
