There was a moment in the early 2000s where he--in the course of like 3 minutes--told a story that included playing stickball in Brooklyn, hanging with Ginsburg, writing an ethnography in the South Pacific, and being the world's foremost authority on seafood. Remarkable.

Michael "Savage" Weiner was sometimes OK at storytelling. But he was neocon radio's LAZIEST host: more repetitive than others; MANY reruns; pre-recorded segments sloppily manipulated to appear "live."
