Complicated & multivariate question, but I think it's wrong to say the Mueller investigation had no political impact on Trump. Just the vague perception of wrongdoing is going to influence public opinion over time. His approval rating has been historically low throughout the termpic.twitter.com/CNIdzX65f6

Weren't you just arguing a few weeks ago that the Russia story was the Worst Most Despicable Hoax in Human History (along with Iraq WMD) and now that it was unravelled with the help a few brave skeptics it would empower Trump & make him more popular?

Jeet, you mischaracterize my views so egregiously and so routinely that I'm losing patience even though I have engaged with you countless times. I said it would "empower" him by giving a compelling triumphant narrative. That doesn't translate to a high overall approval rating

Legit question: Can we trust any polls in a world where some might be embarrassed to express approval of a President to a stranger on the phone?

Yes, you certainly can. This exact bias is something pollsters have spent decades developing complex statistical models to minimize.

The same Wapo that had Hillary by 98.2% Ask MAGA supporters how many have been polled, you'll understand 2016 dejavu all over again. MSM hates Trump and his supporters, they would never report a fair and balanced polling

To anyone who reads this post, this is how the deep state keeps up the distraction from the actual issues Americans care about or should be thinking about.

Who is saying the Mueller investigation had no political impact on Trump? If they say that with a straight face, shameon them. But forget the impact on Trump, the impact on the country, the degradation in the confidence citizens have in their government, should make you weep.

In the Trump era the only poll that matters is election day as the MSM has been exposed as either incompetent or propagandists frauds. Russiagate hoax, "fine people" hoax, the fact these same posters got it way wrong in 16 & the critical thinking meltdown on the left negates poll

Not true, Michael. All polls are compromised. How accurate were those polls that smugly predicted a Hillary Clinton landslide? The media knows that when it comes to polls, you get the results you pay for. @POTUS still attracts tens of thousands of motivated voters to his rallies.
