Tracey, I don't think those (like me) who think there's epistemic distance between "Mueller did not establish criminal conspiracy" and "Mueller established that no criminal conspiracy took place" are engaged in a Cartesian project of doubting the senses. You know better...

I don’t think he was saying that. I think he’s saying it’s not a substantial point, kinda like the “can we be sure we’re not being tricked by a demon?” point ultimately not being of any real substance.

Fair enough. But if it was given that this is a square you could then prove 100% that it wasn’t a triangle couldn’t you? Otherwise wouldn’t all mathematical proofs have to start out with something along the lines of “given we are not in the matrix”?
