Challenge to anyone hanging onto the inane fallacy that Mueller didn't disprove Trump/Russia collusion, he merely asserted that there was no evidence to establish it: Please prove that you are not the Easter Bunny. Hint: you can't, because it's impossible to prove a negative

The philosopher Bertrand Russell famously elucidated the fallacy of this thinking. He was referring to religious belief, but then again, Trump/Russia has all the hallmarks of classic stubborn supernatural dogmatismpic.twitter.com/7ih9ulF3Qs

I’m a human that’s not a bunny because I have none of the traits that define what a bunny is. The Easter Bunny is a bunny. I am not a bunny, therefore I am not the Easter Bunny. The Mueller Report just says it doesn’t have enough evidence to prove collusion. Still might be true.

But you don't know for sure that you're not being deceived by your subjective consciousness and that you are in fact the Easter Bunny. Which is to say, you can't disprove a negative with 100% epistemological certainty

I guess I COULD be the Easter bunny. No long ears, no fuzzy tail, and generally I don’t hop. Only have two offspring. I DO like chocolate. You win.

        1. It’s impossible to prove a negative. 2. Therefore, all negatives can not be proven. 3. But “all negatives can not be proven” is a negative. 4. Therefore, at least one negative can be proven 5. Therefore, it is possible to prove some negatives.

He needs at least a Bachelor degree (and a certain grade score) to attend Law School. And I also don't think he's smart enough to get anything they'd teach him.

It’s the prosecutor’s job to affirmatively establish guilt after determining there is sufficient cause to proceed, not to prove a crime did not occur. At least American jurisprudence it is.

This is a bogus straw man argument. The report lays out lots of evidence of improper and unethical contacts. It lays out that Trump lied repeatedly about these contacts and told his aides to lie. While these may not be prosecutable crimes, the information is extremely damning.
