That’s because at this point the mainstream media is going to push Mayor Pete harder than they did Clinton in 2016.

Agreed. But it could hardly have come at a worse time in the history of media credibility. They can maybe get to across the finish line, but it's going to be ugly. The convention in Milwaukee is going to make '68 look like a Rotary Club chicken dinner.

They are all pushing Pete hard right now, no question about it.

I think they literally believed no one would go after him because he's gay. If he had always shared Bernie's actual views on the issues I'd have no problem backing him as the nominee but he's made it clear he's no Bernie AND he's proud of that fact, so help him God!

I listened to that last night and thought it was quite bizarre. Some of their podcasts hosts had him in "Tier 2" as candidates. Tier 1 had a guy who hasn't declared yet & a woman polling about 20-25pts behind Bernie. Regardless of the preferred candidate, the math seems weird.

One reason why all polls should be ignored so early in the game. They are dpun by everyone to fit everyone's narrative and therefore not reliable.

The knots they tie themselves in to finesse Harris's chances and talk down Bernie's, it's a bit sad tbh

Pete's running for VP. It's obvious. He's already running against Pence. The strategy is to prevent Bernie from getting 50% of the delegates, then form a "unity" ticket w/Biden & Doogie Howser VP to get enough delegates to not have to invoke super-delegates.

Pete has no infrastructure, no ground team, no 1,000,000 volunteers. He is staring from almost zero, where Bernie was in 2016.

Also That’s Trump in 2016.
