The New Indian Express is a major newspaper based in Chennai, India. Happy to contribute. But would also observe how conspicuous it is that foreign publications seem far more eager/willing to examine the US media's incalculable failures on this story than many US publications.

US publications are unwilling to engage in self-reflection because almost all of them were intensely complicit in the failure. That's why it'll take foreign and independent media to conduct the kind of thorough, painful audit that is so desperately needed.

I would also note that journalists have professional/social incentives to not criticize one another too harshly. These people are notoriously petty and remember any slight for years. One unkind word and your career prospects could be toast. That's why the whole system is screwed.

it's interesting to contrast lack of accountability for repeated and gross errors on Iraq and Russiagate versus vendetta against @lara_j_logan for a single mis-step in a Benghazi story where she was mostly right. Her larger mistake was to challenge Democrat privilege.

When foreign gvts have total influence over your media they are no longer reporting for America’s benefit. They are for the benefit of foreign Countries looking to ruin us. They should be arrested for failure to FARA file. They are traitors.

Thank you. That is what I have been saying: NOTHING CHANGED from the Iraq War cheerleadingdays for the Lamestream bobbleheads.

absolute power corrupts absolutely, that is why we change politicians every 4 or 8 years, perhaps the same should occur for journalism at the top of national media

Well Chris sometimes is overcome with "unbidden, but often and sharply, keening rage" over the "lack of consequences for all those who brought" us the Iraq war. Not enough to risk the cash & actually call anyone out on his nightly show, but rage.pic.twitter.com/byxvsqu7Uw

I made a copy of that too. Epiphanies like that could get Chris Hayes fired.

I do think it is true that people like Goldberg, Chait, Frum are willing to double and triple down on the increasingly ridiculous collusion narrative because they fear no professional consequences. Their bosses and audience will loves them for being

you said you are writing a book or something that is a comprehensive look at Russiagate & the willful failures of media and political actors? also does the lockstep way the media hyped this hoax suggest the intel agencies may directly control them? intentional lack of skepticism

I recall Fox News anchorbots being some of the "bad media actors complicit in thr Iraq/WMD debacle." But no need to worry you're "holding them accountable" by...going on their shows to play patty-cake. Thank god your here to hold journalist feet to the fire.pic.twitter.com/0UjVMTLynU

Also are you saying that George dubya create a story about WMD to get himself removed from power? Are you saying that ol' Georgie asked to have a thorough investigation of Iraq with neutral parties begore invasion and accepted the full results?

Who would bother reading the New Indian Express when we can read the New York Times/Washington Post? Oh wait, you don't rate writing for them, got it.
