The core premises of the Trump/Russia story were farcical from the beginning, but when Mueller’s investigation began to focus on Jerome Corsi -- a cognitively-decrepit crazy person -- that should’ve been a tipoff that this entire conspiracy rabbit hole was just a complete joke

Granted Corsi is a stretch but just because he's a nut doesn't mean he couldn't commit crimes. Cesar Sayoc wasn't a genius and yet worked out a way to make/mail bombs. .@mtracey’s tweet could’ve been complete with just this first part: “The core premises of the Trump/Russia story were farcical from the beginning.” Anyone who embraced this lunacy for even a nanosecond was on a joyride of delusional wishful thinking.

Everyone who hasn't yet read the report is pretty certain it paints Trump favorably. I'm betting there are SDNY indictments on Monday.

The media did make a lot of ad $$$ off it, though, and even Roger Stone got a spectacular arrest out of it (which yielded more publicity for him)...so there's that. 😆😆😆

It should've been pretty obvious when they were screaming at the top of their lungs that Russia hacked the DNC emails and gave them to WikiLeaks, yet didn't provide any supporting evidence, even though the NSA could've almost instantaneously gathered and provided such evidence.

The whole premise that Russian has a sophisticated effective election meddling campaign through Twitter, I still find to be ridiculous and very comical.

Corsi reports from his FBI questioning that they were trying to establish a link from Wikileaks to him to Roger Stone to Trump - that that was how the nefarious Russian spycontrol was transmitted. Except Corsi had no personal contact with Wikileaks - he just read the website.
