Look: there's undoubtedly going to be lots of bad faith, trumped up attacks on Bernie, his supporters, his staff, and so on. But the ethics of *writing speeches* for a candidate while you purport to be doing independent journalistic work are obviously, manifestly suspect

Are such unethical practices rampant? Yes, as the 2016 malfeasance in the Hillary campaign amply demonstrated. But if Joan Walsh or somebody were revealed to be surreptitiously writing speeches for Kamala, you can be sure the Bernie guys defending Sirota would (rightly) freak out

Don't see in the article where it says he was writing speeches. (Also, the article itself makes a lot of "leaps" in what the author considers an "attack".) Is writing articles or tweeting peoples voting records, where they raise money, etc. an attack?

Also happy to discuss this fixation of yours, which strikes me as doubly bizarre. I make my views known, strive for factuality and transparency, and also practice journalism, having been published in numerous major outlets. I have never feigned "objectivity." That's who I am.

In my opinion the speeches aren’t the issue but the concern is the larger issue of blatantly biased reporters pushing obvious propaganda while claiming to be “straight news.” CNN comes to mind.

wikileaks had a email about spreading Russia mania after Hillary lost, John Podesta was the one who started the scheme. I read it with my own eyes. Where is this evidence of Russia Russia evidence? it's been going on for 2 years.
