I'm not sure this maps onto an "intra-Dem factional fight" since most of those who mock the resistance and Russia investigation (Greenwald, Tracey, etc) are outside Democratic Party. If they have a political manifestation, it's third party or not voting.

They don't apply ideological labels based on . . . . ideological beliefs. They're just tribal identifiers: how much you like or dislike them, how much you cheer or boo them, etc.

I think Tracey's statement in 2016 that there was no reason to vote for Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump was a statement of ideological belief and not a "tribal identifier"

Agree. But Tracey being right often means others are visibly, publicly shown up as wrong. They hate that they are exposed as wrong. So, they hate Tracey.
