Currently no hard evidence that the US is behind the power outage in Venezuela, but the fact that proven liar Elliott Abrams has denied it should raise suspicions. US has already carried out multiple acts of extreme sabotage, so it's not at all implausiblehttps://twitter.com/agearan/status/1104070341637349376 …

"No," US special rep for Venezuela says when asked whether US is behind the massive electrical failure in that country today. "That's an easy one."

No doubt in my mind that they're behind it. Outing power grids is an attack method-- but they should know that what goes around comes around... Other countries are also capable of attacking power grids. That's the one thing what's-her-name on msnbc got right...

The US has a long history of attacking infrastructure like this across the world, it's how the whole empire rolls and always has. Yellow journalists are always going to carry the water and whatever else is needed.

Quite the opportunistic take. He was asked a question and answered it. Had the question not been answered you’d say his silence also raises suspicions. Either way you get to sow doubt and win. This is how conspiracies are born.

This thread makes me realize how destructive all these spy movies are to people's ability to reason - or their need for an exciting conspiracy theory to get their adrenaline going.

#Maduro is in the best position to prove his assertion of US sabotage, VE's grid being under military control. Unfortunately, Angel Dries, head of dispatch and operations of CORPOELEC power plant, is dead, after arrest
