The indictment alleges a perjury count as a result of his knowing misrepresentation of a material fact to Congress . . . namely he falsely denied contacts with wiki. Obviously, evidence on that material fact was presented the grand jury in order to return that count.
As if the FSB used american phones to communicate...
Also, it would not be illegal for said phone call. People seem to forget he is technically a journalist.
"known" phone records
And Assange announced on TV five weeks earlier that he had a DNC emails dump coming. So Stone only knew what everybody knew.
Sure, I never heard of VoIP, either.
1. Maybe it wasn’t a “phone call” but some other form of communication, 2. There was an intermediary from Stone to Assange (Farge comes to mind for some reason). If a connection happened, Mueller knows.
Hahahaha
Sometimes I think he stuck by the Stone/Wikileaks story to discredit the rest of his testimony and keep people like @AOC from getting any more subpoenas.
Not sure how lying to Congress a second time was part of the plan.
Feels trappy.
someone point out that no one including Mueller has asked Julian Assange about this. No questioning or even a request for
everybody know mueller is playing 6D chess...with the law
I have no idea whether it happened or not. But query, from a strategic and discovery standpoint why would Mueller include it rather than just sit on any evidence he might have about it?
You're saying everything Mueller has on a target/subject is always written in the indictment? You're kidding, right?
I can’t believe a convicted felon lied to Congress. Again.
Then Mueller agrees with Assange: Stone is a liar.
They'd never lie and he'd never use a burner phone?
