It’s a cop-out to simply declare opposition to military intervention. US has not militarily invaded, yet is still fomenting regime change. Bernie gave credence to this by calling on Maduro to accept the “humanitarian aid” sent by the US, which is a scheme to overthrow the govt.

Put another way: There’s an active US-directed regime change operation currently underway. For Bernie to do anything less than straightforwardly condemn this is obvious equivocation, and inconsistent with his prior beliefs.

He did not condemn the Trump Administration’s currently-existing regime change operation. He condemned military intervention, something which is not currently happening

He def said No intervention in the town hall and asked why aren't we going into Saudi Arabia? WHats our criteria?
-
That was strong. He needs to play offense more when they try to pin him down.

How did he equivocate?
-
By asking to have aid allowed in (only US aid is blocked) and calling for another election (negating the validity of the last election).

Chomsky isn’t all that consistent either though, supporting US in Syria ...

Gabbard is saying much with respect to foreign policy/wars. If he gets the nomination I'd like to see him pick her for VP or if not that then perhaps secretary of defense?

His response was terrible & cowardly. I'm still waiting for any candidate to call for prosecution of crimes committed by the past 3 POTUS. By any measure, ours have killed more.https://twitter.com/jennyjenli/status/1100210313691951104 …

Bet it won't be Tulsi. She willingly participated.

I think it was a move on his part to say that to stop his opponents from crying Venezuela at him. Not a good move.
