The reasoning Andrew McCabe gives for his investigation of Trump often sounds like it was lifted from a David Frum article in The Atlantic. It's exceedingly obvious that media-generated hysteria is what guided a lot of his decision-making.

The fact a BUREAUCRAT initiated an investigation of the duly-elected president on his own initiative is terrifying & all Americans should realize the federal government has grown too large, intrusive and all powerful

Why are some people so suceptible to the spin while others aren’t? It’s like the logic switch was deactivated for half the country.

The FBI people involved in this strike me in general as unimaginative bureaucrats. Maybe that shouldn't come as a surprise.

If we are going to be held responsible for all our tweets, I need to shut-up and get off twitter...

To think that the case was initiated due to tweets is why so much of the discussion is ridiculous, was McCabe revealed was likely tip of the iceberg.

It's not a "joke" when a candidate for federal office calls upon a hostile foreign country to conduct cyber attacks on his opponent and then they do just that the same day. Then that candidate uses the results of that to attack his opponent.

The tweets were at a long chain of events and actions taken by Trump and by those surrounding him ( FFS Manafort!). Trump was never, ever, some innocent babe and scrutiny was more than warranted.

Someone should ask McCabe why he didn't open up an investigation into Obama secretly sending billions of dollars to Iran who is a State Sponsor of Terrorism. Including those funds being used to make a ransom payment.
