It's easy to be against "regime change" in principle, much harder to be against it in specific circumstances. That's why many on the Right who ostensibly claim to oppose regime change favor the Venezuela intervention. The unique circumstances justify it, they say. Same old trick.

Also note how the "anti-globalist" right, who constantly declare how much they hate neocons, are willing to follow the lead of Elliott Abrams, one of the most consummate neocons who ever lived. It's almost like their claimed anti-interventionist principle was never sincere.

Whatever you think about Maduro, it would be ridiculous to argue that his humanitarian offenses have been worse than, say, Saddam Hussein. Yet all these right-wing "anti-globalist" guys, including Trump, routinely affirm how unjustified the Iraq War was. They're incoherent.
