I don't know the answer to that, but I'm sure that Russia is somehow responsible for everything, even though I have no proof or even rationale.

The goal was always to get Trump to fire Mueller. That way, even if Trump did nothing, they would have infinite reason to call for his head

Any story about anything that doesn’t happen could be considered pointless. But I can understand why people would panick over the prospect of blatant obstruction of justice by a president who has done many impulsive and stupid things that clearly were not in his best interests

Only thing that matters is the clicks, sadly. All news stories have become National Enquirer cover stories despite a lack of substance.

Honestly, the hand wringing about it was always pointless. If Trump did fire him, then it would just play into the Democrats' hands. If not, then the investigation can go on with no problems.

Would it be a good idea for President Trump and Mueller to sit and talk on TV/YouTube and try to mend the division in America?

Yeah but the political impotence, that never dies! (And wars continue unabated)

How many times have you defended Trump’s efforts to stop or delay the investigation while simultaneously screeching about how there was “no evidence” as if you were somehow privy to even a tiny fraction of the information about the case?
-
Trump has the constitutional right to fire Mueller and yet he has not. Trump has done nothing to stop the investigation outside of public comments.

How many fundraisers have been run expressly devoted to stopping Trump from firing Mueller?

Jussie = pointless news cycle. The President of the United States publicly and repeatedly questioning the legitimacy of a prosecutorial investigation into his campaign is actually news.

Or you can say that pressure stopped Trump from firing Mueller.

You know he did actually try to fire Mueller and the previous White House counsel talked him out of it. Seems a little weird to discount that particular fact.

If he fires Mueller we march! Let's write legislation to protect Mueller! After Mueller report - Mueller was a Republican, clearly conflicted, we need a real investigation. Two more years of whipped up manufactured panic

Unless the unrefacted Carter Page fisa report shows damning evidence of wrongdoing.
