I almost think Kamala would've been better off just sticking with the "tough on crime" persona that obviously shaped her entire professional career, rather than faking this new "progressive prosecutor" gimmick which invariably comes across as totally unconvincing

I want a tough on white collar and VIOLENT+ dangerous crime candidate, who doesn't crush those who don't hurt or endanger others.

But Michael, as she repeatedly likes to say, she will never apologize for prosecuting rapists, murderers, and child molesters... (...because apparently in her mind so many people ever thought that was the problem with her record.)

That´s the problem when you haven´t got a vision or a soul, you´re trying to make everyone happy, and in the end you just make yourself and the 1% hapy and rich and craving more, always more.

It would of been bad either way. She can't hide from the Progressive Left. We are too knowledgable about their antics.

The entire party would’ve been better off embracing their “smart/uncool” vibe rather than embarrassing themselves the way they have been during the Trump era. (Also, not espousing neoconic foreign policy, identity politics, & conspiracy theory as platforms of course)

“Tough on crime” is one thing! Dealing with a large fiscal problem is another! These are some of the 4000+ debits-credits that CA & Kamala use to reduce state costs, which clarifies her “former” opposition to sentencing reform and the SCOTUS order to reverse prison overcrowding!pic.twitter.com/Pt2W7NUyIN

Not to mention that "progressive prosecutor" is an oxymoron. There's absolutely zero progressivism in working to maintain and expand a carceral justice [sic] system that perpetuates the school-to-prison pipeline.

Someone like Larry Krasner is a progressive DA. Harris, on the other hand, is a garden variety “tough on crime” one, whose first instinct is to get a bigger sledgehammer instead of rethinking which tools to use.
