Her "issue hierarchy" also differs from most politicians, on both right and left, so this further complicates categorization attempts. If anything, she's an "idiosyncratic" -- not a moderate.

On foreign policy one would not go radically wrong to characterize her than as a latter-day Robert Taft conservative. Hard to tell where she stands on other issues though, vast majority of what one sees about her is war-related, so she comes across as a single-issue candidate.

She’s quite elegant so that alone sets her apart from 99% of pols

That's a weird description.

@TulsiGabbard is#Bernie, a left-wing populist, but with a strong pacifist overlay. Her temperament seems to be cool under fire, yet she exudes concern & sincerity that is sure to play well in the retail-politics environment of Iowa & NH. Neocon corporatist MSM & Dems fear her.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@TulsiGabbard is thoughtful. Most issues are various shades of grey, not simply black or white. Problem is that Americans these aren't thoughtful, flexible or forgiving on issues. She's got her work cut out for her. Either way, she needs to be on that debate stage.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Yeah, I've kinda been in denial about her. She's genuinely interested in ending imperialist wars, but it feels like she'd support any war she could be tricked into believing wasn't "imperialist."

That’s why she is so appealing. Another non-scientific point. Even though she’s only 37, her temperament makes her the “oldest” candidate among a group of distinguished geriatrics.

if she can push the Dems towards a more just foreign policy, I'm all for it. Who else is talking like this?https://youtu.be/8w1zf3YyXRI

that was great right up until Assad came up... then I watched her political chances go

It doesn't matter Sanders isn't even a registered Democrat and many of his policies would not have been considered democratic in 2016

I wish she'd wait till 2024. I'd consider voting for her as a democrat then....but not considering anyone else against Trump. If she'd wait she'd probably be able to pull in a lot of Trump supporters

she'll jump in with bern because anti-intervention, so she'll be judged as he is. unsure if good or bad for her.

The often repeated notion that anti-interventionist foreign policy is either left-wing or right-wing is ridiculous. Intellectual dishonesty and/or partisan opportunism.
