She turns people off because the campaign acts like every American has a responsibility to vote for her except neoliberals, big business and finance execs. The campaign was run as a coronation as opposed to soliciting a mandate for leadership.
True, but in addition to voters who object to Hillary as a shill for Wall St or as blood thirsty as Cheney or best sales rep Monsanto #gmo ever had, many of us who have spent a decade or more researching toxic policy & pay to play politics want her jailed. There's that group too!
Where are you getting that 25% figure from ? The number I’ve seen floating around is that between 6-12% Bernie voters switched to trump in the general.https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/monkey-cage/wp/2017/08/24/did-enough-bernie-sanders-supporters-vote-for-trump-to-cost-clinton-the-election/?utm_term=.ceab49352707 …

And that’s the problem with how that faction views elections. Those things that Hillary was criticized for were deserving of criticism. But was sitting out that election to feel politically pure worth electing Trump?
A lot of which you can also attribute to his voters not being regular voters who only really showed up for him in the first place
Yeah I feel like it’s very rarely talked about that one of his strengths is he may be able to bring out people who don’t usually vote.
i wonder how many of those were in deep blue/red states- i certainly wouldn’t waste my time in california or texas. i do know a number of michiganders who turned out in the primary but figured that Clinton had things wrapped up in the general... welp!
Texas voter here who didn’t vote in the general because “Why?”.
I had decided long before Bernie that i would never vote for Hillary, ever. Bernie just gave me a great alternative,so when the DNC cheated him and all of us, i sure as hell was not going to change my mind and just vote for her. I still believe we would be much worse off with her
A.) It was overwhelmingly because of rage at the rig, and B.) That’s not saying they voted for Trump; that was a smaller subset.
Exactly.
The reasons I didn't vote for Clinton instead of @DrJillStein is because ethics, integrity, honesty and agenda are all important to me and a person's personal history is important as well.
Using my criteria neither Trump or Clinton were qualified to be POTUS
#Bernie2020
There were two people that I just could not bring myself to vote for & retain a clear concious. Evil vs Evil for the ticket was not acceptable to me. It was like being forced to eat shit because it's all you are ever going to get. I would rather starve to death.
...and her payouts from Russia that everyone seems to ignore.
HRC was DOA. That's why the primary was rigged. @SenWarren didn't run along w/ others bc of her power over DNC. HRC had major baggage, instead of coming to terms w/ that 4voters, she chose to cut corners and played entitled. She was the worst "best candidate" ever.
Probably has more to do with the DNC/MSM rigging the campaign, millions of Bernie voters purged from rolls, Hillary consistently beating exit polls by 10-20%.
