If the Mueller investigation really ends next week without a single American being indicted on charges of conspiring with Russians to influence the election, the entire thing will have been a total bust. But that won't stop hysteria-peddlers from furiously insisting otherwise

Cop: ‘yeah we were called to investigate reports of a possible sexual assault... but all we found was some guy repeatedly stabbing his wife on the front lawn. Shut it down I guess...’
-
Pretty poor analogy. The question is, is it ethical to investigate PEOPLE rather than CRIMES. Our values consider investigating PEOPLE to be an abhorrent distortion of justice. The fact that the injustice has the side effect of indictments doesn't excuse it's unethical origins.

Manafort was low hanging fruit, they could have prosecuted him 10 years ago for his crimes, they did not need this investigation.

I predict the fallout will be cries that Mueller didn’t go far enough or get enough time, and the faithful will turn their hopes to the House investigation.

Of course they will. Their mighty champion of all that is good and upstanding (Mueller) will shortly be acused of being some combination of a partisan weakling and secretly compromised by the Kremlin. Its inevitable. Also a heavy dose of "Trump obstructed and made it end!!"

Of course. Just like Clinton lying about sex proved that he did something shady in an Arkansas real estate deal years before he ran for President. The standard should be exactly the same.

Number of indictments has been used to justify the SC, which is fallacious in its head. “Show me the man and I’ll find you the crime.” He has nothing pertaining to his original scope.

Because there in no Russian collusion or even meddling for that matter. Just made up corruption from the liberal left.
