2/ I don’t give hot takes on many items for a reason. Many years ago Bob Dylan made the mistake of recording, in my opinion, the rocker “Julius & Ethel” about the 1953 executions of the Rosenbergs. I think it immoral to have a position on the Rosenbergs:https://youtu.be/1NVGdKj8Wpw

Excuse me. Do we know each other? Did I back over your dog...or is this the way you normally open conversation with strangers on difficult topics as an objective journalist? Forgive me, but it does say “Journalist” in your bio. Do you subscribe to the journalist code of ethics?

Another tedious tweet from you. 1) I don't have to personally know you to comment on the IDW's well-established hypocrisy 2) I never purported to be "objective," which has always been a phony pretension 3) There is no universal "journalist code of ethics," you just made that up

Except that nothing about the size of Israel can be considered ‘giant sized.’ The combined land mass of their surrounding enemies on the other hand..

Uhh...what about their military?

The main problems here are that you think "the IDW" is something other than Eric's theatrical label for an undefined group of people. That and thinking that everyone who believes in free speech has a duty to respond to the never-ending march of DC melodrama or be hypocrites.

It's because the larger culture refuses to define cult, theocracy and the positive effect of dualism on religion. Talking about Omar without those things is like painting with a wet noodle. She will destroy the Democrats because they can't stop her either. It's amusing.

This makes me happy, if this is all that can be mustered against IDW the culture has hope yet.

Many accuse the IDW of needing a safe space. There’s a universe between seeking a conversation with intelligent people who can engage substantively/empirically/honestly WITHOUT ad hominems/emotive discourse/hyperbole/dishonesty/circular-reasoning & seeking a SAFE SPACE.

The former is stimulating/satisfying/productive. The latter is boring/irritating/UNproductive.

Here’s the difference: anti semitism is not part of outrage culture. That’s why there’s no pushback when anti semitism produces genuine outrage.

Tracey won't answer to his own hypocrisy. Apparently US Jews DO have divided loyalty because we want Israel to survive as a nation & take measures to ensure that. But Ilhan DOESN'T have divided loyalty by siding with Palestinians who want what she wants - Israel to be liquidated.pic.twitter.com/H8RGUIGWSN

There's nothing wrong with "taking measures" per se. It's whether or not those measures come at the expense of the American people.

This is stupid. Eric is talking about a complicated, nuanced topic, and calling it such. And you think you can scapegoat him as well as destroy an entire critique of culture. In fact, you might more honestly conclude that this topic is complex while others are simply critiqued.
