For all the people helpfully chiming in to clarify that the FBI can't autonomously invoke the 25th Amendment: yes, we know. But they can autonomously instigate a plot to encourage its invocation. Which is what appears to have happened. Thanks for the inputhttps://twitter.com/mtracey/status/1096781886905569281 …

People arguing that the FBI was right to plot a 25th Amendment removal scheme against Trump because he was morally incapacitated, rather than physically incapacitated: You really want the FBI making autonomous decisions about the moral character of the president? Are you insane?

Yes, a corrupt biased political body can do that.. But a Federal Law Enforcement body, in the process of conducting a legal, taxpayer funded investigation-CANNOT. It proves bias, discredits a legal investigation & violates somany Law Enforcement policies I could never list them.

Yeah, the FBI can do it, but they don't have any constitutionally derived authority to do it. And that's kind of important to note if you ask me.

Where does it say the FBI cannot do a nose count of Cabinet officers willing to invoke it??? Are they deprived of their first amendment rights to suggest it to the Cabinet? Your argument is highly flawed, calling it illegal with nothing to back that up

You still haven't explained the part where it goes from the FBI "instigating" to the VP and cabinet members hand-picked by the President deposing him.

You’d rather throw out inflammatory words like “cabal” than have a substantial discussion of the 25th Amendment. You have yet to demonstrate, with either case law or statutory text, how the FBI acted illegally by having a discussion.

Don't care if you love Trump or hate him, knowing there were seditious bureaucrats in high govt. positions whose favored candidate didn't win & conspired to overturn an election should terrify everyone. These people need to be prosecuted, pronto! #SpyGate #seditionlaw
