The enemy of your enemy—in this case interventionism—doesn't always need to be your friend. What's most concerning about Tucker's anti-interventionism is that it's rooted in selfishness, Nationalism and viewing people in other countries, especially the Middle East, as inferior.https://twitter.com/RoKhanna/status/1096467708831510530 …

I do understand the importance of cross-ideological coalitions, the Lee/Sanders/Murphy push in the Senate was a good example of that. I just don't see Tucker as a good faith actor and one progressives should align with because his views are rooted in white nationalism.
-
And don't get me wrong, Ro's work on this issue is fantastic, the issue is only with championing Tucker in the process.

It’s a difficult situation we’re all in. The power lined up behind maintaining the status quo has arguably never been so entrenched. So naturally, any help is welcome. But on the other hand, Tucker Carlson represents a dangerous movement and is no ally. Broken clock kinda thing.

Sorry, my belief is that smearing Ro as a “white nationalism” enabler is totally unjustified and toxic.

Yeah but it’s Tucker Carlson. Comes with connotations, baggage, etc that will only hurt any movement. He literally just flip flopped on this also. Forge with better ppl
