Michael you really expected more from that vicious ignoramus?

My expectation was that his lack of wisdom, poor staffing choices, and addled brain would prevent him from actually changing the direction of the party, but that doesn't mean he didn't have the opportunity to do so.

Funny how not many make Paul Ryan and the other R turncoats culpable for much of anything during ‘17-‘18. A President can’t do everything alone.
-
Ryan used him for tax cuts and then bailed on him, McConnell and Graham doing the same thing , they will turn on him once they achieve their agendas hence McConnell’s support for Emergency Dec after speaking against it last week,it was only way to get him to sign Border sec bill

@realDonaldTrump supporters across US have suffered unprecedented abuse, calumny & hatred for backing him. US has been polarized by his presidency and public life disrupted as never before. And for what? He has betrayed his key campaign promises and is governing like Jeb BushThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Like Obama and many others before them the reality inevitably falls short of the soaring campaign rhetoric, but if you don’t think Trump has dramatically changed the political direction of the GOP then you’ve forgotten where it was a few years ago. Imagine if Rubio or Jeb had won

I suspect what Coulter & other righties are most pissed about is
@realDonaldTrump reneging on his promise to voters to stop spending trillions of $ on interventionist wars regime change or otherwise. Avoiding WWIII or flirting big time w/it is why I voted for Jill@DrJillStein -
Thank you for doing your part to elect Trump.

What are you talking about? Trump is the pulse of republican base and party, he is their intent revealed. Mitch McConnell support of his behavior proves that!

what if the existing GOP won't support him? What else could he do to "dictate" the outcome here? It's pretty clear the GOP and dems see eye to eye on the border, despite some rhetoric
-
He could have emphatically argued on 01/20/2017 that he was aligned with neither unpopular parties, that he opposed both Ryan & Pelosi. That his path was a third option for the ten's of millions who have been dispossessed by the corruption & alliance of business & government.

Gosh! You would think that American government is only about the presidency--you would think that the distinct, co-equal branches of government are just supposed to roll over and fail to do their Constitutional duty because 36% of the population wants--or doesn't want--something.
-
The distinct, co-equal branches of government are so completely infested with the corrupt that the President has to act on his own. That's why he was elected in the first place.

Trump is there to disguise the fact that the two parties have formed what is essentially a coalition.
