So the senior-most law enforcement officials in the country effectively plotted a coup against the elected president because they didn't like his views on Russia. Wow - McCabe also tells CBS that Rosenstein's offer to wear a wire with the president was raised more than once and that McCabe took it to the lawyers at the FBI to discuss. https://twitter.com/NorahODonnell/status/1096020537069977600 …

I don't believe his views on Russia mattered to them. His views on the proper role of the Federal Government are what they were against.

That’s the best they could come up with to cover their misdeeds with Russia(ie uranium 1) and Iran. They were desperate and didn’t have a lot of time to prepare.

Pretty much. Then they admit it and have no fear of judgement or consequences and get lucrative book deals. This is way worse for the nation than 4 years of Trump.

Tracey needs to open a few history links. Seem to recall there were some sinister behind-the-scene shenanigans towards the end of Jimmy Carter’s presidency also.

That may* be true. But I have ancient history with Mr. Trump and would say keep a weather eye here. There's a 30yr investigation involved. But they may have blown that and that's a shame. It's also a very negative outcome for the country.

Honest Q: without getting into whether it’s true, IF the FBI reasonably believes the president is an asset, witting or otherwise, of a foreign adversary, and as such poses a threat to nat’l security, what should they do?

Secondly, if the President is truly a traitor, then a patriot with access to the President would know what can be done. The irony is that the establishment is dominated by globalists, hence their abandonment of the once bedrock liberal principle of civic nationalism.
