Did anyone else derive strange pleasure from debating random LaRouche pamphleteers? It was almost like a window into an entirely alien epistemic system. More interesting than most things you'd do on a typical day, anyway. I usually wound up enjoying myself

I just now wondered if some of the LaRouche airport people and some of the Hare Krishna airport people are now working together on the Gabbard campaign. That would make quite a story!

They called it the Eurasian Landbridge. It’s an idea that has since been adopted by the Chinese government as part of the One Belt, One Road initiative.

Yes! With almost everybody you can tell where they’ll come out on any given issue and know their arguments, but these guys are totally unpredictable.

I got into it with one at LaGuardia in the ‘80’s. Whatever we were talking about, we were 180 degrees apart but he never stopped trying to recruit me.

In different states across the country, I found them to be uniformly and gratuitously rude, for whatever reason. I already hated the Deep State (by whatever name), but his people managed to make even them sympathetic figures. I later met ONE nice LaRouchite, FWIW.
