The media/political class has spent more than two deranged years screaming about Russian Facebook memes and Twitter trolls -- supposedly world-altering "foreign interference" -- but has nothing to say about the US directly seeking to topple a government. Frauds, all of them

Still nothing from AOC, and her fans seem fine with that. All of this is so unsettling, even progressives don’t care
-
Corbyn has made a token statement but it seems like everyone is scared to call it out for what it is. Thankfully
@TulsiGabbard and@DerbyChrisW are two of the leading political voices. We need more!

Remember the good old days when the
@CIA did this and the public didnt find out until after? Good times. -
They wasted all that time, money, and energy hiding these things and it turns out that everyone is so transfixed by reality TV that they don't even care anyway. Imagine what they could have done in the 50's if Jersey Shore had been on instead of Andy Griffith.

Michael, it’s because this isn’t a coup. Maduro dissolved the elected congress and NAMED their replacements thus becoming an illegitimate president. The legit congress named its speaker (Juan Guaidó) as interim president and here we are, pls stop calling this a coup!!!
-
Additionally, most Venezuelans are very happy about this and incredibly proud and grateful that we finally are getting intl support

Don't forget that the Democrats also completely abandon any thoughts that Trump is an incompetent reckless, thoughtless foreign stooge anytime he is advocating or engaging in war.
-
It's because he's doing what they want him to do. Everybody he's ever attacked has been who Hillary wanted him to attack. Every. Single. Time.https://www.aol.com/article/news/2017/04/07/hillary-clinton-called-for-bombing-syrian-airfields-hours-before/22030847/ …

Yes but Michael a human crisis is persisting. A ham
costs a weeks salary man ffs. This situation has evolved into the extreme. -
Thats not a human crisis... Yemen is a human crisis. But US are selective in their "humanitarian" intervention wars

Confucius said, "When words lose their meaning people lose their liberty." The meaning of the word "media" conjures thoughts of investigative journalism and impartial reporting, but what that word "media" actually means today is corporate and state sponsored propaganda.
-
Yup that sounds about the size of the problem we've got.

Not a coup. Assembly followed constitution. US encouraging peaceful solution
-
That's still a blatant interference in internal affairs of a foreign nation. Let alone the fact that the last few countries in which the US was "encouraging peaceful solutions" have been plunged into chaos.

I never support nterference but in this case it is justified. You need to be aware of the living conditions in Venezuela to back US. This is humanitarian and not time for sentiment or bias against United States.
-
There are many places around the world where living conditions are bad. Why does this one justify military force? Have you seen the kids in Yemen? How much of a dictator can Maduro be if Guiado is still running around free trying flip military officers for his coup?
