"People on the internet don't like my transparently malicious smearing attempts" = "Gotta be something nefarious and foreign going on... hint, hint" On top of all its other harms, nonstop Russia panic has made journalists exponentially dumber and more paranoidpic.twitter.com/Wab82QFTOb

Insulated, paranoid journalists such as this guy can't fathom how online support for a candidate/cause might simply be the product of Tulsi filling an otherwise-unmet niche in US politics. For him, the likeliest explanation has to be "foreign interference." It's so pathetic

I would argue that most of these types know she (or anyone) isn’t a Russian plant. They’re playing a role trying to get clicks and attention from people deceived enough to believe the Russiagate myth. It’s a business that’s booming right now

People still don't get it: these people had a *mental break* when HRC lost. A break. A fracture. They lost it. And now, to reconcile with it, they've become beholden to all the same conspiracist lunacy for which they once mocked others.

Well, for a country which has a history of interfering in other countries, its only natural they think everyone else doing the same to them.

Much easier to understand if you replace the words "insulated paranoid journalists" with "corrupt paid propagandists".

The same journalists who want illegal immigrants voting in US elections and advocate the US government being involved in a multitude of foreign countries...because they’re super concerned about “foreign interference”.

The wall that endangers America most is the one we build to close our mind to any truth that comes outside our partisan camp. To the extent that patriots like @TulsiGabbard—and you—tear it down, you will be the target of status quo slanderers. With you in that breach! 🧱

He’s the second reporter I’ve seen complain about this. When I check their responses, it seems like run of the mill Internet snark. With maybe a few people who step over the line, but I don’t think that’s “Russia”

What follows next, is beyond the pale 'supporters' who say the most vile and nasty things, and fill up comment sections with vitriol which BuZzFeed can then cite to prove the opposition lacks validity.
