    Michael Tracey Retweeted Tom Elliott

Mindless journalists, like the one who conducted this interview, insist on dividing the world between "friends/enemies" and "good/evil" -- which is childlike in its over-simplification. A foreign policy guided by these lazy notions guarantees disasterhttps://twitter.com/tomselliott/status/1093145043546845184 …

"Axis of Evil" was the Bush/Cheney outlook, and we know how that turned out. Apparently Dems and their media buddies wish to return to that ridiculous paradigm

Kasie Hunt actually asked, "Do you think Assad is a good person," while the rest of the Morning Joe crew feigned bewilderment about what Tulsi was saying. These people are utter cretins

These journalists are hacks but guests on these shows need to go off script sometimes. TG could have said, "We can play word games all day but key point here is that military action is generally not warranted unless somebody poses a direct threat to US."

"Interests not aligning with U.S. is not the threshold for war which is what you're suggesting with your line of questioning." Can't let questioners shape the narrative.

The whole approach of @TulsiGabbard’s interrogators is juvenile. Insisting on labeling nations and their leaders rather than objectively analyzing interests as she rightly recommends. Is this what passes for #journalism these days? @DanielLMcAdams @JimJatras @SoniaMRobaey

A lonely voice of reason drowning in a sea of ignorance! The US needs desperately to elect #Tulsi2020 in order to stop the needless destruction of our planet. Natural disasters due to #ClimateChange should be the focus of the world, no need for #RegimeChange man made disasters.

Obama's motivation for Venezuela sanctions was US Naitonal Security (???????). I'm glad you are talking about it.

Or the circular convo about Russia: Russia is our enemy because they tried to influence our elections. But others do it to! Yes, others do it too, but they are not our enemies, so it's OK.

Besides Trump, has anyone else generated this sort of reflexive media antipathy? Their expressions just radiate disgust, despite her measured and reasonable responses to their relentless badgering.
