Media has been used to support the War Effort since people went to the theatres for their news before and during the World Wars. Historically, the same has happened in different forms throughout history. It's foolish to think it's changed.

Ron Paul endured this same kind of smearing back in 2008 I believe.

Gabbard is not "anti-war." She's anti specific pointless conflicts. Regime change being the obvious one. Action without a vote by congress on a country that posses no threat to the US. She's pro - common sense.

Everyone should be anti war!

Absolutely! And there certainly are things we need to push Gabbard to the left on, but she's one of two congressman to call out our viscous coup in Venezuela and our illegal war in Syra. These positions make her a true leader.

How come you never go in to detail about where she needs to be pressed on her aspects of her foreign policy?

It's even more true of apparently barely competent anti-war candidates.

Competent people don’t run for political office.

She has been consistently anti-war, ever since she got in office.

The election is an opium designed on purpose to blindside the ppl to have the collected delusion of have-a-say.

We need to start asking which power structures are actually behind her campaign. She's NOT doing this on her own. Is there an anti-neocon faction of the military?

Being "anti-war" is as dumb as being "pro-war". The world doesn't work in binaries and foreign policy should not be ideological. You approach every event as a unique one and consider what best serves America's interests. Non-interventionists are simply passive ideologues.

She’ll get pressed. For now, to me, she’s light years ahead of the pack.

That’s just first-base for any candidate.

But WHY? Who does the media REALLY work for if anti-war platforms are a trigger?

This is 100% true. What bothers me is Harris foreign policy is much worse (championing regime change in Syria and wanting to arm Israel to the teeth) but gets little to no pushback on that issue from many of the same “progressives” going after Tulsi

It's not just the media that is to blame: over decades, the fake left has become pro-war and also fears any candidate that will get in the way of "winning"; thus they engage in all the smearing themselves, independent of corporate interests--on social media
