Withdrawing from the INF treaty (a move fully endorsed by NATO) is being spun as a gift to Putin. Something tells me that if Trump had stayed in the treaty, it'd also be spun as a gift to Putin. Foundational tenet of conspiracy theories: a core premise that is non-falsifiable

Strange column, considering the Secretary General of NATO and every NATO member-state declared their support for the withdrawal (see: https://twitter.com/jensstoltenberg/status/1091331622555787264 …). Perhaps Reps. Engel and Smith should consider whether they are hopelessly blinkered by the myopia of domestic politicspic.twitter.com/oiHr2NyIm4

There's a sane, non-conspiratorial critique of Trump's withdrawal from the treaty that should be leveled. It could spur a nuclear arms race. It worsens relations with Russia, which is contrary to Trump's stated objectives. Instead, Dems parrot the same old paranoid nonsense

I believe using premises that assume the truth of the conclusion is the actual definition of begging the question.

The problem is I don't think this thing self corrects after Trump is gone. People are so emotional and less less reasonable about everything

Bolton has been on record for years to withdraw from the INF. But I am sure he too is a Russian spy now.

This is the perfect example of how America's foreign policy interventionists and intelligence agencies want to control our relations with Russia. Anything Trump does with Russia will be framed as being part of a Russian conspiracy and pro-Putin.

NATO agreed because Putin had already broken the treaty and the new Russian Missiles will limit warning time. Let’s see if Europe allows new US Medium Range Missiles as the did the Pershing’s.

NATO is dependant on the US, and appears to be going along to get along, but how can a putatively anti-war person be glad about US withdrawing from a nuclear non-proliferation agreement, after which Russia immediately said it's going to develop formerly banned mid-range missiles?pic.twitter.com/z9DV43EwHK

Agreed, but the general theme is the establishment consistently opposes Trump from the right. By propping up this talking point the establishment is only reinforcing a false belief that Trump is anti-war, which by his own foreign policy actions he is not.
