Totally baseless assertion, and not supported by anything contained in the Stone indictment. There is no evidence that Trump officials had privileged knowledge of WikiLeaks releases. Then again, you'd expect nothing less from media coverage of this subjecthttps://twitter.com/FiveThirtyEight/status/1089206425149194242 …

Again, totally false. Hard to tell whether these outlets are propagating this falsehood because they're illiterate, self-deluded, or actively deceptive. Probably a pathetic combination of the threehttps://twitter.com/TPM/status/1089312535961092102 …

For the confused: the Stone indictment specifically says that Stone had communications with Trump officials *after* Assange publicly announced that weekly releases of "Clinton-damaging" emails would be forthcoming. Mueller never alleges "advance knowledge"https://twitter.com/mtracey/status/1089207136574496768 …

Everyone needs to chill and let Mueller complete his investigation and issue his report. That’s when the real debate should begin. Conjecture at this point from either side is an emotional waste of time. Mueller needs to get this done before the 2020 election begins.

It’s not conjecture if you’re WikiLeaks. They know there was no collusion involving them. Mueller’s inability to find anything substantial is becoming clearer & clearer. Assange/WikiLeaks have to clear their name in what’s become ever-decreasing circles of dangerous false claims

Exactly. Even with all the dots connected, in order for there to be a conspiracy to commit a crime, it would require the Trump campaign to have planned the hacks in conjunction with Russia and Wikileaks.

Wikileaks didn't hack DNC. DNC cannot even prove they were hacked because nothing from an independent enforcement agency who actually did an analysis of their server. Plus the Wikileaks story only showed DNC cheating not Russia in their own primary.
