    If the charges are borne out, it looks like the moron Roger Stone did lie to Congress. So let him pay the price. But it remains the case that simply seeking to make contact with WikiLeaks, an entity which has published vast amounts of true and newsworthy material, is not a crime.

        Yes, countless people tweeted at WL asking what they had & when they would release it. It's preposterous to think there's anything wrong with this.

        The indictment doesn’t even allege he had contacts with Wikileaks. He was indicted for lying about his discussions with so called “intermediaries” about Wikileaks. Where in the 24 pg document does it imply stone received any substantial foreknowledge?

        How about falsifying fisa, is that a crime? There’s no rule of law anymore. Just rule of man.

        he was making contact with Wikileaks to obtain the docs - huge difference. Par. 23, Stone emailed "Get to [the head of Organization 1] [a]t Ecuadorian Embassy in London and get the pending [Organization 1] emails . . . they deal with Foundation, allegedly.";

        Way to be an ageist and sexist. I support both Tulsi and Bernie as they both would be good presidents. I don't think their diversity matters at all. All about policy.

        Exactly. And, it remains the case that the whole Clinton / DNC / Fusion GPS : Perkins Coie / Ohr(s)/ Yates/ Baker / Comey/ Clapper / Brennan / McCabe / Strzok / Page / Satler, etc., ‘coup’ attempt must be fully brought to light!

        I agree. But I'm guessing it won't be the only issue here--more likely a role in coordination between Trump campaign and Wikileaks as part of a *larger conspiracy* and it's that larger conspiracy that would have to be conclusively shown!

        If he broke the law, he should be charged. But when will they drag in Clapper, Brennan, the whole gang for lying to Congress as well? I'd be all for this if there wasn't such a double standard.

        If I contact a foreign company - not a crime. If a campaign contacts a foreign company, in order to coordinate the provision of material support for the campaign - a crime. Intent makes the crime!

        I don’t understand why you’re acting like the MSM. You’re responding to them not the *actual investigation.* Did Mueller day it was a crime to try to contact WikiLeaks? No

        It’s actually MSM that keeps pushing the idea that contact with Wikileaks is a crime, by implying Wikileaks = Russia and vice versa. What an absolute farce.

        It's possible some very clever people are manipulating Wikileaks policy of not divulging sources If they can't divulge their sources, it's easy to claim that source was the Russians If the Russians or Russian hackers delivered stolen emails from DNC to WL, where's the proof?
