The prevailing view of the foreign policy / think tank world is that Trump is a singularly threatening menace, except when he takes some action that comports with longstanding bipartisan convention (Syria strikes, Venezuela coup) -- at which point he becomes... fine? Makes sense

Corp Media: flip flops from: Guy who wants to build a wall to keep up fleeing refugees. Demonizing immigrants. To: He really cares about suffering civilians. Spreading democracy & the Rule of law. He’s not lying this time people.

He literally has zero redeeming qualities all the time - the left side of the MSM has praised him exactly twice. Once for bombing Syria and now for the beginning stages of planning a coup in Venezuela.

Both times adopting Trumps BS talking points. Pretending that nothing is wrong with his actions. On Syria they later attacked him from the right for not bombing more. Sure those attacks are coming for not doing more regime change in Venezuela.

Yes. Makes perfect sense. Where is there grounds for any confusion? Globalists love war and hate peace. As much as leftists love power in general. War is a racket, as someone once said.

Trumps bad. A threat to world order. He doesn’t respect international law. He supports strong men and authoritarians Small print: Except when he’s illegally engaged in bombing other countries. Regime changes and illegally keeping troops oversea. The whole legal basis is 🤐

why are these think tanks not required by law to disclaim what country funds them, they're passed off as "analyst" on cable news. But shouldn't they be considered as paid promotion? Also noticed most of them on @twitter have what seems to be high bot activity

Most of them if FARA was actually enforced would be in violation. It’s rare to see their conflict of interest disclosed before appearing on public radio or cable news. Other times their not even experts on the topic their discussing. Which should be a red flag.

You keep calling it a coup. Their congress under their constitution invalidated the election and designated an interim president. There are two sides now.
