The utility of the "24 hour rule" is more obvious than ever: implement a waiting period before reacting to BOOM BOMBSHELL stories, whether it's a supposed Trump/Russia blockbuster (ahem, BuzzFeed) or the latest ginned-up social media controversy. You can visit the Twitter pages of the hacks and their supporters and see them doubling down on the madness--they now suggest that Mueller's office lied in rebutting Buzzfeed story after being pressured by White House last Friday. Yes, incorrigibility worthy only of contempt.
