Is there solid evidence that these false stories actually harm these outlets? I think reputationally they've kind of bottomed out among conservatives and the liberals seem content to be fed some fake stuff once in a while if it hurts Trump.

No. The central theme was that Trump directed Cohen to lie. The SCO is not disputing that fact, but they are disputing that they, the SCO, were told these facts. That's not the central thesis. Did Mueller dispute that or just that he was told that?

They send BuzzFeed the draft/ script to stop them and buzzfeed tried to stop it from being released but they failed to contact the author and it got released anyway. I don't know what was in the document the FBI sent but it was significant enough for the upper editorial to
