There's a reasonable discussion to be had about quotas, diversity in journalism, and so forth, but this is utterly moronic.

Can we not look at journalism majors by race as a proxy for interest? If not why?

Because we have data on actual employment in broadcast news that would be more useful. https://www.rtdna.org/article/rtdna_research_women_and_minorities_in_newsrooms_2017 …

As long as one side seeks out racial disparities and assumes that they are caused by racism, the other side will look for other explanations. Neither is productive, but the left is almost always the first side to essentialize race.

So discuss instead of jumping to “this is moronic”. Or go back to your love letters to Tulsi Gabbard and Bernie.

It's analogous to the liberal argument that women are less culturally inclined to pursue STEM. One is dogma but the other moronic, rash.

The whole notion of picking on any field, job, or company and saying there is a reasonable discussion to be had on diversity is utterly moronic. Can we now have a discussion about the lack of make field hockey coaches on college & university sidelines?
