The FBI has effectively sought to criminalize policy differences, and secretly decided it has authority to override the preferences of the elected president. And yet all the liberal media can do is shriek PUTIN BAD! ten thousand times a day. Pathetic.https://theintercept.com/2019/01/14/the-fbis-investigation-of-trump-as-a-national-security-threat-is-itself-a-serious-danger-but-j-edgar-hoover-pioneered-the-tactic/ …

They don't seem to notice China as much with 10 X the GDP. Of course so many have interests there, like Sen. Feinstein's wealthy husband.https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/explain-the-chinese-spy-sen-feinstein/2018/08/09/0560ca60-9bfd-11e8-b60b-1c897f17e185_story.html …

Actually, the FBI understands that power without proper checks and balances is dangerous, and they have a job to do. Note that the results of their investigation were given to a separate organization to act upon or not, indicating they themselves operate with checks and balances.

Who gets the final say on US foreign policy, the President or the FBI and CIA? Who works for whom? Do you want the FBI to investigate all presidents or just the ones the bureaucrats disagree with?

@ScottAdamsSays claims that any percentage of possibility that the #POTUS does anything to appear in coordination or coincidences with Russia is a legit reason to start an FBI investigation. I asked him if Obama's Iran and Cuba policy could qualify for this type of investigation.

Yo would have a lot more credibility if you were willing to cite the corrupt, thuggish, repressive foreign policy of the US and the fact that it supports 70 percent of the authoritarian regimes in the world. BTW, how does the US choose which of these regimes to label enemies?

Govt and legal authorities trashed constitutional norms during the never ending war on terror and the media was no better. The electorate was helpless. Now the deep state de-legitimizes opposition. Full on Banana Republic here we come ! Then civil war 2.0. Am I wrong?

The only reason FBI didnt investigate Obama as an Iranian agent was the outrage it faced from MSM(rightly so). Otherwise Obama having IRI friendly staff at WH(some being dual citizens) was prime candidate for gestapo style framing .

Putin is pretty bad though and if you have been following his antics for a dozen or so yrs having him have the ear of the US plutocrats that pave his way for him is just as bad as US meddling in other nations. Let's stop not saying he isn't a horrible person because he is.

That is not to say in the least bit that our Plutocracy is doing us a favor either because they are definitely not on our side and anyone aligning with them heads of states worldwide should all be suspect to the working class.

BTW, for those new to the game of US politics, ‘Criminalizing policy differences’ is a standard go-to phrase when right-wing politicians get caught breaking the law.
