If you want a Bernie nomination, Tulsi running doesn't necessarily detract from that. Foreign policy has traditionally been one of his weaker areas, and her presence can nudge him in a positive direction. No conflict there, per se.

In the positive direction of supporting dictators, voting to deny entry to Syrian refugees, supporting far right Hindu groups, and getting mad when someone doesn't use the term "radical Islamic terror"?

Yeah I am glad she has supported good domestic policies and stood with Dakota pipeline protesters but even without the homophobia the militarism is a huge no thanks and should be a disqualification by itself.

I suspect there may be some mutual agreements behind the scenes. Bernie surely sees Gabbard as strong potential cabinet member/progressive successor. What better way to make the case for her/build her name rec come the General and beyond than months of National spotlight.

Tulsi/Bernie if you want the top dog to be the more decisive one Hindu ethos can make a woman strong, feminine, and purposeful — a religion that venerates goddesses

I don't really want Bernie to run because he would be a spoiler for Tulsi. I see the appeal, but I'd rather Bernie use his capital to organize successors and create a bunch of little Bernies in what Ron Paul should have done.

Tulsi has been pretty much unique, as a Democrat willing to acknowledge that there is such a thing as foreign policy.

I'm a GOP voter, and the one ticket that actually represents a threat to President Trump in 2020 is Sherrod Brown/Tulsi Gabbard - left enough to carry Democrats, centrist enough to erode the Trump vote

No. She opposed the Iran Nuclear deal, she is far too rightwing and uses their language when it comes to Islam, her "strength" on foreign policy is a lot of pro imperialism "common wisdom" that I cannot support as a peace voter.
