GOP loves FOP. FOP should have good pay, health benefits, but name any union that protects their members, keep them on the payroll when the union member is under investigation for a major felony. A locomotive engineer that was drunk, killed 17 ppl didn't get paid.

I don’t agree their union should be weakened. We need to implement OUTSIDE investigations into supposed unlawful acts that circumvent those “safety” valves they got in their contract but let’s not weaken any unions.

The entire political and social structure of policing is oppressive; I think Beto was more concerned with the "union" part than the "police" part.
