Are there legitimate points of criticism for Tulsi Gabbard? Of course, as with any politician. But note the particularly virulent outrage she inspires among select quarters of the liberal/left -- they loathe her with special intensity -- and ask yourself what that signifies.

Yes she thinks the war on terror is a legitimate thing and doesn’t seem to understand the war on terror by design was a long term multiple nation regime change operation. Is that not a legitimate criticism to you?

Where did she endorse the Bush-era notion of a "War on Terror"? Legitimately asking. I'm aware that she's endorsed various counter-terrorism measures, but as far as I know, not under the far-reaching Bush rubric.

And even Bernie supports drone strikes, so her views do not deviate from that. I despise drones, I don’t see anyone else who would not use them given Obama’s precedent.

I think there’s an understatement of her bipartisan appeal, and that her policy agenda would add little new harm and many real benefits ($15 min wage, Medicare for All,
#cjreform). & all military folks w/ big public platform say things that are going to chafe certain quarters.1 reply 0 retweets 2 likes
And her "bipartisan appeal" isn't predicated on typical cheap "moderating," it's an extension of her foundational sensibility.

When Tulsi speaks her policy beliefs are genuine. I am so happy she’s running and intend to support her.
