Agreed! Her move stepping down from the @DNC to protest treatment of @SenSanders leading up to 2016 primary was a class act. And her military service will lend credibility to her calls for peace.
The “unless you’ve served” Neocon mouthpieces will struggle with Tulsi.

Every poll I saw on Twitter (I know not the real world) over 80% of the people thought it would be a good idea to get out of Syria. This might make her more popular than certain people think. Most everyone hates these wars.

She really gained my respect by calling out the US fake humanitarian mission in Syria. Even in the face of blanket pro war coverage she showed her courage. Her environmental stance is genuine too, and she's very likeable.

If bombing isis wasn’t a legit use of military force then we will never have a need for a military outside the borders. None of it.

She's going to run as the Ron Paul of the Left.
-
Ironically, she holds 2 of the 3 main positions that Trump ran on in 2016: opposition to TPP & free trade deals as well as a much less intervening foreign policy/anti-regime change

she's easily the best candidate the Dems could nominate

And she'll be unique in that as a war veteran who is anti war she will be demonised by some so called liberals.

That's the kiss of death then. I can't conceive of a group that cares less about foreign policy right now than activist Dems.

It’s not too late for Tulsi to start focusing on gender neutral bathrooms.

Her biggest problem: The Dem establishment (already attacking savagely,) are now more hawkish then the Republicans. But her announcement is the best news I have seen in quite some time.

After Tulsi's response to the news of withdrawal from Syria, I believe she is Obama v2. Dove of peace during the campaign will turn into a war criminal the moment she is sworn in.
-
We can't know for sure until the day comes, but what I've seen so far from her is much more principled -- even in the face of outlandish and hostile distortions -- than Obama ever got even as a candidate, when he tried to ride both the "outsider" & "insider" waves. Optimistic...

Ultimately no deviation in the 'Uniparty' foreign policy is allowed. If she manages a miracle win, someone will appt. a 'special counsel' to find out why & destroy her. Anyone can 'run' for Prez, but only Elites are allowed to govern.
-
No doubt they want to marginalize, co-opt, demonize or grassy-knoll her if they can, because she really is a genuine alternative. If she ever took 11 items into a 10-item checkout lane, they'll want to impeach her over it, for sure. We'll see how much truth the people can handle.
