I can remember pretending to believe in Santa because I thought my parents would feel bad otherwise. Perhaps the kid Trump chided was in a similar situation

If you have divorced parents, you know Santa ain't real. No way is Santa showing up to grandma's on the 23rd, dads on the 24th and moms on the 25th with 3 of the same footballs at each

I was broken whem my parents told me Santa wasn't real. Not because I felt disappointed or misled, but because I suspected that it meant no more Christmas presents

When I discovered the truth about Santa as a child it caused me to question everything and brought me to Atheism.

It’s a hot topic for 7-9 year olds at school. Wouldn’t be surprised if someone at school outed Santa.

That's exactly what I did. I figured out he didn't exist in kindergarten but I wanted the parents to have the ability to surprise me them happy. As you get older you realize Christmas is really for the kids

This all makes me wonder how he handled it with his own kids. Maybe he's still prepping to tell Eric that there's no Santa.
